Mr Eyiyemi (Yemi) Pearse FRCS(Orth)

Mr Eyiyemi (Yemi) Pearse graduated from Oriel College Oxford in 1995 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree and an honours degree in Physiological Sciences. He was an Orthopaedic Specialist Registrar on the South West Thames rotation and developed an interest in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery when he worked with Paul Calvert and Duncan Tennent at St George's Hospital. He undertook a fellowship at the renowned Reading Shoulder Unit where he worked with Ofer Levy and Stephen Copeland. He also has an interest in arthroscopic knee surgery and undertook a fellowship at the North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre where he worked with Bruce Caldwell who was trained by and is now a partner with Leo Pincewski and Merv Cross.

He was appointed as an Orthopaedic and Trauma Consultant with a special interest in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery and Trauma at St George's Hospital in London on 1st August 2007. He has published several peer-reviewed papers in shoulder and knee surgery and remains active in research. He has given lectures at national and international meetings and is involved with undergraduate and postgraduate training at St George's Hospital.
